The Story of Humble Wag

Hi, I’m Channing Weitz & I am the owner of Humble Wag.

WE ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT ANIMAL RESCUE…
& COMMITTED TO ENDING THE STIGMA OF MENTAL ILLNESS.

To quickly sum up what we do at my company in a couple of words looks like this… we create & design apparel & accessories for both humans and animals. However, the depth to this small business is what makes me hold onto it so closely. I started this company because my sister and I lost our parents in a tragic accident about three and a half years ago, leaving me to quit my 9-5 job & pursue a dream of mine.
I always knew I wanted to create a company that revolved entirely around the power of animals, but I never knew how incredible the community would be until I became a part of it. Advocating for mental health conversations and full transparency, my company offers much more than an onlooker can see at first glance. In everything we do, we aim to create more space to make people feel seen & heard, along with embracing the love and purpose animals bring to our world and showing people that being vulnerable is possible with the help of our animals’ unconditional love & support.
The Humble Wag Team strives to encourage conversation and promote action around animal rescue. At 29 years old – I have five rescues of my own – so cultivating a company where a portion of the proceeds are donated to helping us open our own official animal rescue & mental health center is truly magical. I know the capacity Humble Wag has to change lives, both human and all our four-legged friends, and I want all of you to know the part you are playing by joining us in the work that we do.
